He further said these issues needed to be addressed urgently and it would be possible only through efficient leadership, lifestyle transformation, and effective international cooperation. "Outbreaks are inevitable, but pandemics are optional,” Mukesh Abani highlighted this quote from the book.

He termed the book as interesting as he said that it elucidates the dynamics that have consistently determined successes and failures of major countries for over 500 years of history. Ambani said that the book helped him discover why things will likely be radically different in the future compared to the current times. He said that it's a must-read for policymakers, entrepreneurs, executives, and, most importantly, the youth.
