IndiGo Announces New Direct Route: Bengaluru to Lakshadweep Service Set to Begin March 31

IndiGo revealed its plans on Monday to inaugurate a direct flight linking Bengaluru and Agatti, set to commence on March 31, thereby enriching the air connectivity to Lakshadweep.

Scheduled services between Bengaluru and Agatti will kick off from March 31, as stated by the airline in an official announcement.

Utilizing ATR aircraft with approximately 78 seats, IndiGo aims to facilitate seamless travel between these two destinations.

Highlighting the allure of Agatti, IndiGo emphasized its appeal to adventure seekers, citing activities such as deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, sailing, skiing, and kayaking.

Additionally, the airline pointed out Agatti's significance as a gateway for exploring nearby uninhabited islands such as Bangaram, Pitti, Thinnakara, Parali-I, and Parali-II, which are known for their pristine beauty and tranquility.

Presently, Alliance Air is the sole carrier offering services to Agatti, while regional carrier FLY91 is gearing up to launch services to the destination in April.

With a robust schedule of over 2,000 daily flights, IndiGo continues to play a pivotal role in enhancing air connectivity across various regions.
