India may have witnessed the emergence of its youngest millionaire in the form of Ekagrah Rohan Murty, the four-month-old grandson of N.R. Narayana Murthy, the founder of Infosys. In a recent regulatory filing, it was disclosed that Narayana Murthy has generously gifted shares worth over Rs 240 crore to his grandson.

Based on the share price of Rs 1,620 per share on the given day, Ekagrah Murty's windfall amounted to an astounding Rs 243 crore. The proud moment of becoming grandparents unfolded for Narayana Murthy and his wife, Sudha Murty, who is now a Rajya Sabha MP, in November of the previous year, following the birth of their grandson to their son Rohan Murty and daughter-in-law Aparna Krishnan.

Sudha Murty, renowned as an engineer-turned-philanthropist and author, recently took her oath as a Rajya Sabha MP, with her husband by her side, marking another significant milestone in their family journey.
