Nissan Launches Magnite Kuro Edition in India, Priced at ₹8.30 Lakh

Nissan India has added a new variant to its best-selling Magnite SUV range with the Kuro Edition, which is launched at ₹8.30 lakh (ex-showroom).

Depending on the N-Connecta trim, the Kuro Edition is offered with all current powertrain options available on the Magnite. The bookings have opened across India's dealerships, with a token amount being ₹11,000. 

The Magnite Kuro Edition welcomes a sporty Onyx Black body paint finish unique to this model. Following its black theme, Nissan has substituted chrome and other reflective accents with blacked-out parts, such as a new black front grille, black bumpers, and black alloy wheels with silver inserts.

Out back, the SUV features a blacked-out bumper, while the "Magnite" badging is in chrome accompanied by a special edition badge.

Inside, the Kuro Edition extends its monochrome theme with black highlights on the dashboard, roof lining, steering wheel, and center console. Since it is based on the N-Connecta variant, it comes with the same list of features. These are:

Mechanically, the Kuro Edition is a replica of the regular Magnite. It features the same 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit churning out 71 hp and 96 Nm of torque, offered with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT transmission. The factory-fitted CNG variant is also available with this engine.

For those looking for more performance, the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine is also offered with 98 hp and 160 Nm torque. It can come paired with a 5-speed manual or a CVT.
