Ola Electric Dominates April with Over 52% Market Share in EV 2-Wheeler Segment

On the government's VAHAN Portal, the corporation reported 34,000 registrations in the month, representing a 54% year-over-year increase over the same month the previous year.

“Our robust cost structures and vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities have collectively contributed to this uptick in our market share,” Anshul Khandelwal, Chief Marketing Officer, Ola Electric, said in a statement.

He also said that they were very excited to roll out the deliveries for their mass-market S1 X portfolio very soon, which signifies that they are geared up to take India's mass-market 2W EV space.

"We are all set and excited to get into the mass-market 2W EV segment in India," Khandelwal added.

Recently, Ola Electric ventured into the mass-market segment and announced revised prices for its S1 X portfolio.

The scooter, available in three battery configurations - 2 kWh, 3 kWh, and 4 kWh - carries price tags of Rs 69,999 (introductory price), Rs 84,999, and Rs 99,999, respectively.

Also, the company changed the price of its premium models, S1 Pro, S1 Air, and S1 X+ to Rs 1,29,999, Rs 1,04,999, and Rs 84,999, respectively.
