Prime Minister Modi will be addressing a virtual rally on January 31 covering five districts of Western Uttar Pradesh.Calling that the strength of democracy lay in public participation and trust, Modi invited suggestions for his first virtual rally for Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls through Namo App. Modi's virtual rally will cover five districts Gautam Buddha Nagar, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat and Saharanpur of Western Uttar Pradesh where election will be held in the first phase on February 10.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the day will proceed with a 'mainly clear sky', with the maximum temperature hovering around 22.8 degree Celsius. New fire alarm, suppression system for school and inter-state buses

A senior official said that seeing the safety of the passengers who travel from one city to another daily, instructions have been given to the concerned department to equip all the buses with fire protection system. The step will also benefit school students, he added. Due to heat and smoke, a lot of people and school students who travel daily by the buses are at risk but after the installation of such safety systems they will be safe. The new safety system will provide additional evacuation time to everyone by thermal management in case if fire breaks out anyhow.
Delhi: Gym owners stage protest outside Kejriwal's residence

The Delhi Gym Association said that as the Covid-19 cases have started registering a decline, gyms and fitness centers should be also be allowed by the Delhi government to operate like other businesses. "Bars and restaurants have been opened. Offices too can operate with 50 percent of their staff, we do not understand why gyms and fitness centers that help masses in keeping themselves fit, is still under restriction," Sujit (name changed) a gym owner in the national capital told IANS.
