According to a statement of the 'Q' branch police of Tamil Nadu, 16 fishermen and three boats were taken into custody by the Sri Lankan Navy at 2 a.m.. The Sri Lankan Navy, according to the 'Q' branch had apprehended the fishermen from Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu at the Delft Island or Neduntheevu in Northern Sri Lanka.
Has Sidhu polarised Punjab once again?

LeT terrorist killed in encounter at J&K's Awantipore

Police said based on a specific input generated by the local police, a raid was conducted by a small team at Nambal area of Awantipora. During raid, the hiding terrorist started firing indiscriminately upon the police party which was retaliated effectively leading to an encounter. In the meantime, reinforcement of the army's 42 RR immediately reached at the encounter site.
