The Delhi Police are yet to furnish any details about the incident. However, sources said that violence erupted after there was stone pelting during a Shobha Yatra taken out in the area. A Fire Department official told IANS that they received several calls in the evening regarding arson in the area.

With Covid receding, TTD set to resume Hinduism promotion activities
The TTD Executive Committee, Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad on Thursday cleared a proposal to build 1,072 temples in Andhra Pradesh. Under the plan, temples are to be constructed in Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Backward Class and fishermen villages within a year. Each temple will be built at a cost of Rs 10 lakh by the Srivani Trust with the support of the State Endowments department.
