"Biden wanted me in here, OK. Wanted me. Didn't turn out that way, but he wanted me in here, that son of a bi**h," Trump stated, standing alongside Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, both of whom were caught laughing during the incident.

Trump has been repeatedly pointing fingers at Biden for the 2023 federal charges brought against him, alleging that the former president used the justice system for political ends. The charges were triggered by Trump's actions attempting to certify the 2020 election results and mishandle classified documents. The two cases were eventually dropped following Trump's re-election in 2024, as per USA Today.

Trump also attacked both Iran and Israel last week with his comments during which he criticized them for their constant violation of a recent ceasefire. "They've been fighting so long and so hard that they don't know what the f** they're doing,"* Trump had stated, though the ceasefire did materialize.

Trump made his latest remarks during a visit to the new immigration center, which sits in a remote area of the Everglades and will ultimately detain as many as 5,000 migrants. A widely shared video from the event captured Trump as he walked across a large room full of metal bunk beds and cages—rooms intended to hold detained migrants.

Dubbed "Alligator Alcatraz" because of the dangerous environment surrounding it, the center is estimated at $450 million annually to run. Trump indicated that the model could be used in various states and notoriously toyed with the prospect of deporting even American citizens. Trump also proposed the involvement of Florida's National Guard in accelerating deportation hearings by serving as immigration judges.

Talking of the center, Trump said, "Pretty soon, this facility will process all the most menacing migrants, some of the most vicious individuals on earth." He further stated that the "Alligator Alcatraz" nicknaming was "very appropriate because I looked outside and that's not a place I want to go hiking anytime soon."
