Laura Loomer, a political commentator who is an ardent supporter of President Donald Trump, created an uproar on Monday with accusations that Joe Biden might not be alive in two months, after news broke that the former American president has an aggressive form of prostate cancer.
Posting to X (ex-Twitter), Loomer complained that Biden's illness has been well known for a while. "Joe Biden has had cancer for a while," she posted, going on to assert, "he became terminal last July, which is when Kamala Harris took over." Loomer maintained, "Biden has been terminally ill since July 2024."
Doubling down on previous claims, she continued, "A lot of people owe me an apology. I told you all Biden was terminally ill last July. Terminal is 6 months to a year.Won't be long."
As far back as June 2024, Loomer had already implied that Biden was seriously ill. "I was correct about the medical emergency.And I will be right when he dies too. Biden is terminally ill," she wrote then.
She also questioned the validity of Biden's reports on his health, claiming, "the White House doctors have been suspected long enough of faking his medical records."
Referring to the incidents in the past, she said, "As I documented last year, White House doctors had numerous late night visits with Biden that extended beyond midnight. Review the logs, you'll see for yourself."
Making a straightforward post, Loomer stated, "Everyone is saying they hope Biden recovers. He's not going to recover.We need to face reality and initiate investigations. This is the biggest scandal to ever emanate from the White House."
Along with her continued commentary, she also disseminated a July 20, 2022, video in which she claimed Biden "admitted he has cancer." Loomer shared another video that purported to include Biden's brother Frank apparently stating that the president was terminally ill.
As per an official statement, Biden, 82, was diagnosed with the illness on Friday after he complained of urinary issues. His office confirmed that the prostate cancer had spread to his bones — a typical progression in advanced cases of the disease. Spokeswoman Kelly Scully added that nearly 60% of men with advanced prostate cancer undergo metastasis in the bone, according to data from Zero Prostate Cancer, according to Bloomberg.
Medical experts categorize such situations as Stage 4, the last and most advanced stage of the disease. Prostate cancers usually are diagnosed at lesser stages, so this diagnosis is especially alarming.
