Immediately after Hamas released a video in which the American-Israeli hostage Edan Alexander appealed to his captors for release, Trump posted: "Everybody is talking about the hostages who are being held so violently, inhumanely, and against the will of the entire World, in the Middle East - But it's all talk, and no action!!"

He warned that the US would take extreme steps if the hostages were not released by January 20, 2025, when he would assume office.

"Let this TRUTH stand in its way of testifying to what will occur if these Hostages are not freed prior to January 20, 2025 - when I assume Office with honor and pride as the new President of the United States-there will be ALL HELL TO PAY in the Middle East, and to those leaders responsible who carried out such despicable atrocities against Mankind.

Trump made his standpoint well and clear with these words, "Those responsible will be hit harder than anybody has been hit in the long and storied History of the United States of America. RELEASE THE HOSTAGES NOW!"
