A mass shooting occurred at Amazura nightclub in Queens, New York, on Thursday. The Spectator Index reported at least 11 injured in the shooting.
The shooting is one in a series of attacks within the last 24 hours in the US. As details unfold regarding the third attack within 24 hours, there are no confirmed updates so far.
Earlier, a man deliberately drove a pickup truck into a crowd of revellers on Bourbon Street in New Orleans' French Quarter on New Year's Day and a Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) Cybertruck exploded on Wednesday, January 1 outside Trump Las Vegas hotel in which one person was killed.
A stunning connection has been found between the explosion of Tesla Cybertruck outside Trump Las Vegas hotel and the New Orleans car attack.
Authorities are now looking into the explosion of the Tesla Cybertruck as a possible terrorist act.
The New Orleans attack, which left at least 15 dead and dozens injured, is also under investigation as an act of terrorism.
According to reports, the suspect, who is identified as Shamsud-Din Jabbar, 42, and a US citizen from Texas, flew a black ISIS flag from the rear bumper of the truck. At least 35 people have been taken to the hospital, and the authorities have labeled it a deliberate act of carnage.
New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell denounced the attack, while President Joe Biden extended his condolences to the victims and their families, offering federal support. "My heart goes out to the victims and their families who were simply trying to celebrate the holiday," Biden said.
"There is no place for any form of violence, and we certainly cannot allow an attack on any of our nation's communities." The FBI is now leading the investigation into the attack, assisted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Justice Department's National Security Division and local authorities.
President-elect Donald Trump also made a statement, extending his sympathies to the victims and the first responders. "Our hearts are with all of the innocent victims and their loved ones, including the brave officers of the New Orleans Police Department," Trump said in a post on TruthSocial.
These incidents add to rising concern over violent attacks or doubtful terrorist attacks in the US, as authorities continue to investigate motives behind these tragedies.
