US: Shooting Claims One Life in New Hampshire Psychiatric Facility, Suspect Killed

In swift response, a state police trooper neutralized the suspect, containing the situation to the front lobby. 

Col. Hall assured the public during a press briefing that all patients at the facility were secure. He mentioned ongoing investigations into a suspicious vehicle by the state police bomb squad but emphasized that there was no ongoing threat to public safety.

Commissioner Lori Weaver, leading New Hampshire’s Department of Health and Human Services, conveyed that while the hospital would temporarily remain closed to visitors, support would be extended to both patients and staff in navigating this tragic event together, as reported by CNN.
