Following the announcement of Sullivan's visit, other important members of the Biden administration, such as Secretary of State Antony Blinken, have also sent similar congratulatory messages. PM Modi replied to President Biden, saying that his "friend" called him to convey the message. Though the visit of Sullivan has been announced, dates have to be decided for the schedule to travel to India.Nonetheless, it is anticipated that his visit will occur within days of PM Modi's swearing-in ceremony, projected to take place on June 8. Apart from President Biden, Senator Ben Cardin, Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, also lauded the Modi administration for successfully conducting the extensive elections, which saw millions turning out to vote in a matter of weeks.

“The people of India have again demonstrated their commitment to the democratic process, casting their votes in spite of this year’s intense heatwaves,” remarked the White House.
