US Elections: United States Attorney General rubbishes Donald Trump's claim of 'Voter Fraud'

"To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election," said Barr.

Attorney General of United States General William Barr has asserted that his Justice Department has no proof to back the claims of President Donald Trump on fraud in US Presidential Elections of 2020.

"To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election," said Barr. The claims have come as a shocker for Donald Trump who has not yet accepted his defeat. He and his campaign has filed petitions in the states where Joe Biden has been declared winner and Trump has lost.

While alleging fraud in elections, the legal defence team of Trump has even alleged foreign plots to hand the power to Biden. Trump continued with his claim of 'Fraud' in elections Via Twitter on Tuesday even after the Attorney General's statements were released.

In a response to Trump's claims over the hacking of ballot machines to give more votes to Biden, Barr said, "There's been one assertion that would be systemic fraud and that would be the claim that machines were programmed essentially to skew the election results."

Barr is seen as a top ally of Trump said that the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Department of Homeland Security have investigated that claim, and so far, they haven't seen anything to substantiate that.

However, the investigation of the justice department hasn't been concluded yet and they would continue to receive and vigorously pursue all specific and credible allegations of fraud as expeditiously as possible.
