In what he called a record-setting moment for the country, U.S. President Donald Trump welcomed the House of Representatives' passage of the comprehensive "One Big Beautiful Bill" as the beginning of a "new Golden Age" for America. The bill, a significant win for Trump's administration, will be signed formally at a Friday 4 p.m. EST White House ceremony.
Going to Truth Social to make the announcement, President Trump posted:
"The House Republicans just approved the 'ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL ACT.' Our Party is UNITED as never before, and our Country is 'hot.' We will have a Signing Celebration at the White House tomorrow, at 4 P.M. EST. All Senators and Congressmen/women are invited. Together, we will celebrate the Independence of our Nation and the start of our new Golden Age."
He proceeded to express his gratitude towards Congressional Republican leaders, stating:
"The citizens of the United States of America will be Richer, Safer, and Prouder than ever before. Thank you to Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, Senate Majority Leader John Thune, and all of the terrific Republican Members of Congress who assisted us in fulfilling our Promises, and so much more.". Together, we can do things that were not even dreamed possible less than a year ago. We will continue to work, and win — congratulations America!

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt praised the bill’s scope and impact, stating: “President Trump’s One Big, Beautiful Bill delivers on the commonsense agenda that nearly 80 million Americans voted for – the largest middle-class tax cut in history, permanent border security, massive military funding, and restoring fiscal sanity. The pro-growth policies within this historic legislation are going to fuel an economic boom like we’ve never seen before.
President Trump is eager to sign the One Big, Beautiful Bill into law to formally launch the Golden Age of America.
The bill includes wide-ranging tax cuts, more money for the military, and far-reaching provisions to beef up U.S. border protection. Its passage is a rapid and resounding action by the Republican-controlled Congress, just six months into Trump's second term—an accomplishment that had appeared doubtful until the last hours of negotiation.
