President Vladimir Putin is "very ill with blood cancer", according to a Russian Oligarch who has been secretly recorded, The Independent reported. The Oligarch is believed to have close ties with Putin. "We all hope that Putin dies. He absolutely ruined Russia's economy, Ukraine's economy and many other economies - ruined absolutely. The problem is with his head. One crazy guy can turn the world upside down." the Oligarch reportedly added.
Speculations regarding President Putin's health escalated ever since Russia invaded Ukraine.
Previously at various public events, Putin looked weak . At the Victory Day celebrations last week and during a military parade in Moscow's Red Square, the Russian leader looked unwell. Recently, a video showing a meeting of Putin and Russian defence minister Sergei Shoigu showed him holding the table tightly throughout the meeting.
The recording of the oligarch was obtained by the US based News Lines magazine. The Oligarch further said that President Putin had undergone back surgery related to his blood cancer just before he ordered the invasion of Ukraine.

Ukrainian military official has also claimed that Putin has cancer and other ailments. He said Putin is in a very bad psychological and physical condition and he is very sick.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian intelligence Chief Major General Kyrylo Budanov, said Putin has Cancer with several other illnesses. He also claimed that a coup was already underway in Russia to overthrow Putin.
The name of the oligarch is not revealed yet since the conversation is recorded without his permission.
President Putin has legitimized Russia's invasion of Ukraine. He has called it a ‘special operation’ to disarm and protect it from fascists.

On all the speculations and revelations related to Putin’s health, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said in April, that reports claiming Putin suffering Cancer were “an invention and a lie.”
