Balakot Strike: Former US Secy of State Mike Pompeo claims India informed him Pakistan was preparing for nuclear attack

According to Pompeo, he was in Hanoi for the US-North Korea Summit when he was awakened to speak to his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj, who informed him that Pakistan was preparing for a nuclear attack in the wake of the Balakot surgical strike, and India was preparing its own escalatory response.

Devsish Nandepu, 23, was shot on Sunday night during an incident in Princeton Park on the South Side of the city. Despite being rushed to hospital in critical condition, he sadly passed away just after 4am on Monday morning at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. 
IAEA deploys permanent mission at Ukraine's Khmelnytsky nuclear plant

The mission's main tasks are to maintain nuclear and radiation safety at the facility amid the Russia-Ukraine war, Xinhua news agency reported, citing a statement by the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine. Last week, the IAEA established its missions at three other nuclear plants, namely Rivne in western Ukraine, Pivdennoukrainsk in the south, and Chernobyl plant in the north, the statement said.
'Doomsday Clock' set at 90 seconds to midnight amid Ukraine crisis

The Doomsday Clock's time is set by the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists' Science and Security Board with the support of the Bulletin's Board of Sponsors, which includes 10 Nobel Laureates. The new Clock time is the closest to midnight since it was established in 1947. Previously, the Doomsday Clock had been set at 100 seconds to midnight since 2020.

Shooting at Washington state convenience store kills 3

Yakima Police Chief Matt Murray said a man walked into a Circle K convenience store in Yakima early Tuesday morning and killed three people. The shooter took a car after shooting at the driver and then drove away.

Classified documents found at ex-US Vice President Pence's home

The documents, discovered by a lawyer last week at Pence's Indiana home, have been handed over to the FBI, the BBC reported. However, the former Vice President's representatives have said that the FBI collected the documents, bypassing 'standard procedures' and requesting 'direct possession' of them. Representatives for Pence have also sent a letter to the National Archives alerting them to the documents.

He said enough stocks are available to fulfil petrol demand for the next 18 days and diesel demand for the next 37 days. "Furthermore, ships carrying 101,000 metric tonnes petrol are at berth/outer anchorage. The local refineries are playing their due role in meeting the demand for petroleum products," the press release added.
