India-Russia 'Special Relations' Non-Partisan, Backed by People of Both Countries, Stated By Vladimir Putin

This is the foundation for the development of our relations in the future, and these relations are absolutely non-partisan in nature, supported by the overwhelming majority of the peoples of our countries," Putin said while hosting Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Summit in Tianjin, China.

Sediqullah Quraishi Badloon, a provincial communications official, said the majority of deaths were in Kunar, with nine dead in Nangarhar. The US Geological Survey said the quake struck about 27 km east-northeast of Jalalabad, a city of close to 200,000 people, at 11:47 pm local time (1917 GMT). The initial earthquake was followed by at least three aftershocks.

During his two-day China visit for the summit, PM Modi travelled in China’s Hongqi L5 limousine, the same model used as President Xi’s state car and reserved for senior Chinese officials and select foreign leaders. Mr Xi had also used this vehicle during his 2019 visit to India for talks with PM Modi.
