Pakistan's largest Chinese built nuclear-power plant to start operating
The Karachi Nuclear Power Plant Unit-2 (K-2), established with the cooperation between Pakistan and China, is a coal-fired power production unit, which would be the country's sixth nuclear power plant and is expected to bring dramatic increase the nuclear energy capacity. Prime Minister Khan, who virtually inaugurated the K-2 nuclear power plant on Friday, said the unit would generate at least 1,100 MW of clear energy.
Iranian Parliament calls to limit cooperation with IAEA
"The IAEA had three months to fulfil its obligations, it did not do so and the deadline expired yesterday (Saturday)," Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said on Sunday. 6-year-old boy killed in California shooting
The victim's mother was driving a Chevrolet sedan with him in the right rear passenger booster seat when another driver opened fire, according to City News Service. The woman pulled over immediately and called 911 and the boy was rushed to Children's Hospital of Orange County, where he was pronounced dead, California Highway Patrol Officer John De Matteo said.
