Erdogan steps back from threat to expel 10 foreign envoys

Speaking after a cabinet meeting, Erdogan welcomed a new statement by several Western embassies in Ankara, which noted that they abide by a diplomatic convention that stipulates not to interfere in a host country's internal affairs, reports Xinhua news agency. "Our intention is never to cause a crisis but to protect our honour, our pride, our sovereign rights. The new statement shows they have taken a step back from the slander against our country. They will be more careful now," President said.
Pyongyang touts 'invincible' ties with China on Korean War anniversary

The day of the report marks the 71st anniversary of Beijing's participation in the 1950-52 Korean War. Rodong Sinmun, the official paper of North's ruling Workers' Party of Korea further said that the two socialist countries have vowed to continue their ties. North Korea has been seeking to boost rapport with its traditional ally amid an impasse in nuclear negotiations with the US.
China comes under attack in WTO for breaking rules

The regularly scheduled Trade Policy Review, which allows China's trading partners to make official statements about policies to which they object, came last week as China marks 20 years of membership in the WTO, a group that works to establish rules for trade among its 164 member countries. The US was far from alone in complaining about China's failure to live up to its obligations under the WTO.

According to the Federal Bureau of Statistics (FBS), from October 2018 to October 2021, electricity rates increased by 57 per cent from 4.06 PKR per unit to at least 6.38 PKR per unit, the report said. By the first quarter of October, the price of an 11.67 kg cylinder of LPG had gone up by 51 per cent from 1,536 PKR to 2,322 PKR. Similarly, the price of petrol had gone up by 49 per cent in three years from 93.80 PKR per litre to 138.73 PKR per litre.
Yellen expects US inflation to fall to acceptable levels in 2nd half of 2022

Yellen told CNN on Sunday that monthly rates of inflation have already fallen substantially from the very high rates that they had seen in spring and early summer. She also said that because of what's already happened, the inflation rate will remain high into next year. She said she expects improvement by the middle to end of next year, the second half of 2022.

"Internet service cut off mobile phone networks, and bridges closed by military forces," it said.
