China again demands clarification of US Navy nuclear-sub incident

A new investigation report released by the US Navy said the submarine had crashed into an unknown seamount in the South China Sea in October this year, Xinhua news agency reported. "We have repeatedly expressed our grave concern over the incident and asked the US side to take a responsible attitude and provide a detailed clarification so as to give a satisfactory account to the international community and countries in the region," Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Wang Wenbin said in response to the report.

According to BFMTV, the judge asked Sarkozy several questions on Tuesday to which the former President refused to answer, explaining that if he answered the judge's questions, "the separation of powers would no longer exist." His summon was "completely unconstitutional" and "totally disproportionate," he added.
Amrullah Saleh asks Ashraf Ghani to release tapes with US envoy

Lahore declared most polluted city in the world

The official Air Quality Index (AQI) of Lahore was reported at 289 (as per the average between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.) and international monitoring bodies put the score at 397. New Delhi stood at less than half of Lahore's pollution level, with 187. Individual areas of Lahore fared worse, with Kot Lakhpat (industrial area) crossing over 500.
Pakistan to decide soon on sending NSA to India

India extended the invitation to Yusuf to attend the regional conference being hosted by the Indian NSA Ajit Doval. The Foreign Office in Islamabad confirmed the invitation but said the decision would be taken at an appropriate time. Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi earlier said Pakistan's decision would be based on keeping in view the current state of relationship between the two nuclear-armed neighbours.
