TTP tells Pak govt it wants political office in 3rd country

Pakistan and the TTP entered into a month-long truce starting November 9. The ceasefire was the result of a series of meetings held between the Pakistani officials and the TTP representatives in Afghanistan. The talks were brokered by the Taliban government, particularly the Haqqani Network. Both sides held at least three rounds of talks-one in Kabul and the other two meetings took place in Khost, the report said.
California wildfires kill thousands of giant sequoias

Two fires in the Sequoia National Park and surrounding Sequoia National Forest this September, both ignited by lighting, tore through more than a third of groves in California and torched an estimated 2,261 to 3,637 sequoias, between 3 and 5 per cent of the population of the majestic trees, according to the report released by the agency. This loss added the two-year death toll of giant sequoias in wildfires to an estimated 13 to 19 per cent of the world's population, reports Xinhua news agency.
Houthis claim launching 14 bomb-laden drones against Saudi airports, Aramco refineries

"We targeted the King Khalid Air Base in Riyadh city with four drones, hitting military targets at the King Abdullah International Airport and Aramco oil refineries in Jeddah city with four drones, striking a military target in Abha International Airport in Abha city with a drone, targeting other military sites in the cities of Jazan, Najran and Abha with five drones," Houthi military spokesman Yehya Sarea said in a statement.
Iraq says deadline of US military exit not extended
