Responsibility to host next Russia- India-China summit lays with Beijing: Moscow

"Due to COVID19 pandemic and subsequent waves from 2020 there were no summits between Russia, India and China. There were hybrid meetings between foreign ministers in online format. Today the initiative to hold the RIC summit is upto China and we are ready to comprehensively support," Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Maria Zakharova said in a press briefing.

IAEA to report on Japan's plan of discharging contaminated Fukushima water

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said that it will publish a report in April detailing the findings of its mission to review the Japanese government's plan to release the contaminated radioactive water into the sea from the crippled Fukushima nuclear plant. A task force of the IAEA conducted a five-day safety review in Japan, which the agency pledged, would be carried out on an objective and scientific basis, reports Xinhua news agency.
