Sunak is trailed by Trade Minister Penny Mordaunt with 92 votes, 10 more votes since Monday, and Foreign Secretary Liz Truss was third with 86 votes, having gained 15 votes.

Dmytro Orlov, the mayor of Enerhodar where the station is based, said the troops were "so scared that they ran around in a panic", with some now in intensive care in hospital, Daily Mail reported. The cause of the sudden hysteria is not known, although Russian President Vladimir Putin's men had been using the power plant to store many of their weapons, including missile systems.

Over 1.63 lakh renounced Indian citizenship in 2021, US top choice

Data provided by the Ministry of Home Affairs in Lok Sabha disclosed that the US was the top choice with almost half of Indians - 78,284 - preferring to become US citizens. In 2021, as many as 1,63,370 Indians gave up their Indian passports. The corresponding number in the year 2019 and 2020 was 1,44,017 and 85,256, respectively.

NASA delays mission to study ice and water on lunar surface to 2024

NASA's CLPS initiative allows rapid acquisition of lunar delivery services from American companies for payloads that advance capabilities for science, exploration or commercial development of the Moon. The delay is for additional ground testing of the Astrobotic's Griffin lunar lander, which aims to reduce the overall risk to VIPER's delivery to the Moon, NASA said.
