The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Saturday that it had targeted and killed several Hamas personnel as they advanced on southern Gaza after capturing Khan Yunis city, the hometown of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. The IDF stated that both the air force and navy conducted strikes on cells of Hamas operatives and infrastructure throughout Gaza.
