On this visit, the Iranian foreign minister met separately with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Syrian Prime Minister Mohammad Ghazi Jalali to discuss cooperation to secure humanitarian assistance to the Lebanese families in the process of fleeing the Israeli military assault in Lebanon.
