Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan was severely criticised on Twitter after he linked to rape and sexual violence against women with their dresses. Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasreen tweeted a picture of the cricketer-turned-politician while taking a jibe at him.
Imran Khan, in an interview, had said that if a woman is wearing ‘very few clothes, it will have an impact on men’.
Reacting to this, Nasreen tweeted a shirtless picture of Imran Khan and captioned: "If a man is wearing very few clothes, it will have an impact on women, unless they are robots.”

The interviewer Jonathan Swan, in shock, rephrased his question and asked “But is it going to provoke acts of sexual violence?”
To which Khan replied, “It depends on which society you live in."

Khan went on to explain how cultural difference makes an impact on the society and its people.
Many activists and rights campaigners labelled Khan as sexist and accused him of promoting misogyny amongst men all around the world.
Meanwhile, this wasn’t the first time that the Pakistan PM has been called out for his controversial remarks. In April, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader singled out Bollywood and blamed “obscenity” for the rise in sexual violence cases in the country. During a weekend TV appearance, Khan had said, “this entire concept of purdah is to avoid temptation, not everyone has the willpower to avoid it.”

He was not even pardoned by his two ex-wives. His first wife Jemima Goldsmith quoted Quran saying that the “onus is on men”. His second wife Reham Khan made a grave insulting remark as she said “the less he speaks the better it will be for all.”
