On Wednesday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced a temporary cessation of fighting until 2 p.m. in the Ash Shaboura area within the Rafah district, citing humanitarian reasons. This decision, as reported by the media, reflects a tactical pause in hostilities to facilitate humanitarian efforts in the region.
According to Avichay Adraee, the IDF's spokesperson, there are ongoing clashes reported along sections of Salah al-Din Road in Khan Younis. Adraee advised individuals to steer clear of these conflict zones for their safety, as mentioned in The Times of Israel.
Despite the fighting, authorized traffic will be permitted from Khan Younis on specific routes, aiming to facilitate movement while ensuring the safety and security of civilians during this period of tactical pause.
