Hamas to Free 13 More Hostages, 200 Aid Trucks En Route to Gaza

A convoy of 200 aid trucks has successfully reached Gaza, with numerous vehicles making their way to the northern region. Before crossing the Rafah border, Israeli authorities rigorously inspected these aid trucks at the Nitzana crossing with Egypt.

In a positive development on the third day of the ceasefire, Hamas has declared its commitment to releasing a minimum of 13 hostages this Sunday, in accordance with the agreement facilitated by Qatar and involving Israel. Simultaneously, Israel is set to free at least 42 Palestinians, including women and children.

There are reports indicating that, with the approval of Israeli authorities, six ambulances and numerous aid trucks are en route to northern Gaza. The aid shipments, comprising essential supplies such as medicines and food items, mark a crucial aspect of the four-day ceasefire established between Hamas and Israel.

Recognizing the escalating humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the United Nations Welfare and Relief Agency (UNRWA) has urgently appealed for immediate aid. The dire situation in the strip necessitates assistance, including provisions of food, water, medicine, and fuel.
