Hamas Allegedly Exploiting Gaza Hospitals for IDF Attacks: IDF Spokesman

According to media reports, Hagari provided a video presentation showcasing an underground entrance leading from Sheikh Hamad Hospital, which he claimed connects to Hamas tunnel networks.

Another video displayed Hamas gunmen opening fire at Israeli forces from within the hospital, as reported by the Times of Israel.

“If it weren’t enough that we exposed a tunnel under the hospital, Hamas also shot at our soldiers from within the hospital,” Hagari said.

He said that the IDF has intelligence of a tunnel network under the Indonesian Hospital, as well as aerial imagery showed rocket launchers only a few dozen meters away from the complex, Times of Israel reported.

“Hamas systematically built the Indonesian Hospital in disguise to support its underground infrastructure,” Hagari said.

Hagari also revealed recordings of calls between Hamas officials discussing their utilization of fuel reserves that are the property of the Indonesian Hospital. 

The IDF had previously accused Hamas of establishing its primary operational hub beneath Shifa Hospital, the largest medical center in Gaza, and of stockpiling fuel, as reported by the Times of Israel.
