The Indian embassy conveyed that the atmosphere during the ceremony was infused with divine energy, resonating with hymns and songs sung by the Indian diaspora that echoed throughout the hall.

Despite the small Indian community in Mexico, numbering about 8000, with a significant portion in Mexico City and the rest scattered in cities like Guadalajara, Monterrey, Cuernavaca, Queretaro, and Cancun, this event showcased the unity and cultural exchange between the two communities. The Indian community consists mainly of IT professionals, executives from Indian and international companies, academicians, and businesspersons primarily in pharmaceuticals, textiles, and garment businesses.

In 2016, the 'Indian Association of Mexico (IAM)' was registered locally, boasting substantial membership and community support, according to the Indian Embassy.

The pran pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya was attended by various dignitaries, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, marking the culmination of years of struggle and the realization of the dream to establish the Ram Temple. The ceremony involved ritualistic bathing of the idol of Ram Lalla using 114 pitchers filled with "aushadhiyukt" water, infused with medicinal properties, along with sacred water from different pilgrimage sites.
