Everyone should evacuate Tehran, Says Donald Trump

Making the announcement on his social media site, Truth Social, Trump said, "Iran would have signed the deal I instructed them to sign. What a waste, and loss of human life. In simple terms, Iran cannot be allowed to have a nuclear weapon. I said it repeatedly! Everyone should leave Tehran immediately!"

As the hostilities between Iran and Israel reached their fifth consecutive day on Tuesday, the nation of Tehran was instructed to immediately leave the city by US President Donald Trump as he warned of growing hazard with ongoing military attacks.

As a reaction to the intensifying crisis in the Middle East, Trump also announced that he would shorten his attendance at the Group of 7 (G7) summit being held in the Canadian Rockies. In a remark to the press at the summit, he stated, "I have to be back as soon as I can. I have to be back early for obvious reasons."

A White House statement confirmed his hasty departure, with the Middle East crisis given as the main reason for his return to Washington.

Repeating his long-held position, Trump included in a follow-up post, "America First means many good things, including the fact that Iran can not have a nuclear weapon. Make America great again!!!"

Meanwhile, Israel escalated its military warnings, issuing an urgent evacuation alert on Monday targeting a municipal zone in Tehran. Israeli Defense Forces spokesperson Avichay Adraee, in a message shared on X (formerly Twitter), directed residents of District C in northeastern Tehran to leave the area immediately.

In the hours ahead, the Israeli army will be moving in this region, as it has done in the last few days in other areas of Tehran, to target military facilities of the Iranian regime," Adraee stated. "Your presence here puts your life in jeopardy. For your safety and security, we request you to vacate the area immediately."

District C is reported to have a concentration of sensitive Iranian infrastructure, such as several key state institutions, government ministries, semi-governmental organizations, and intelligence and communications centers, based on a report by Xinhua news agency.

The Israeli military also stated that airstrikes launched on Tuesday morning had struck weapon convoys and surface-to-air missile systems traveling from western Iran to Tehran.

With each passing day, tensions rise and the international community keeps a close eye on the developing conflict, worried about its wider implications for the region and for stability at large.
