Tesla CEO and the world’s richest man Elon Musk on Monday challenged Russian President Elon Musk to a “single combat” fight, the stakes being the independence of Ukraine.
“I hereby challenge Vladimir Putin to single combat… stakes are Ukraine,”, Musk tweeted, typing Ukraine and Putin’s name in Russian alphabets.
Following up this tweet, Musk tagged the official handle of the Russian President (/@KremlinRussia_E) to ask if Putin accepts the challenge or not?
“Do you agree to this fight? @KremlinRussia_E,” Musk asked.

To this, Dmitry Rogozin, the director general of Russia’s space agency Roscosmos responded by quoting lines from Alexander Pushkin’s Poem titled “The Tale of the Priest and of his Workman Balda”.
“You, little devil, are still young, compete with me weak; It would only be a waste of time. Overtake my brother first,” Rogozin tweeted in Russian.
In response, Musk took a sly at Putin and tweeted that Russia can have 10 percent more pay-per-view money.
“I see you are a tough negotiator! Ok, you can have 10% more pay per view money,” Musk tweeted.
He also joked that Putin can bring his own bear to assist him in the combat.
Earlier this month, Musk accepted the plea of Ukraine by activating the Star-link internet service to bring internet connectivity to areas which have been hit by Russian invasion.

Russia has reportedly been facing heavy losses in terms of military equipment.
It was reported that Russia has asked China to provide military and economic aid to help sustain its invasion of Ukraine.
If the request goes through, it will undermine the collective efforts of the US and Europe to help the Ukrainian government to push back Russia’s invasion.
The US last Tuesday banned the import of Russian energy imports, i.e., oil and gas. Russia, in retaliation, hit back by imposing an export ban on various products.
