PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari announced on Sunday that his party has designated Asif Ali Zardari as their nominee for the upcoming presidential election.
Addressing a rally in the Thatta area, Bilawal stated, as reported by Dawn newspaper, "To quell the flames engulfing the nation, we have resolved that Zardari will be our candidate for the presidential election." He emphasized that once his father assumes the role, he will work to extinguish these flames and safeguard both the federal and provincial governments.
According to media reports, Bilawal has directed his party to align with those seeking their support without expecting any ministerial positions in return.
