The envoy highlighted discussions within the 2+2 dialogue concerning humanitarian crises in Ukraine and the Middle East, emphasizing support for Israel against terrorism while striving to alleviate civilian suffering and uphold international humanitarian law.
Regarding US investments in India, Garcetti expressed anticipation for increased visitor numbers and substantial investments in Indian technology by US private sector companies in December and January. He clarified that such industrial ventures would involve direct engagement between investing companies, with the government playing a facilitative role in these investments, particularly in sectors like semiconductors and other industrial endeavors.
