11,240 Palestinians Killed in Gaza so far: Hamas

The death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 11,240 due to Israeli attacks since October 7, as reported by the Hamas-run government media office. 

In a press conference at Gaza City's Al Shifa Medical Complex, Ismail Thawabta, the Director General, revealed that the casualties include 4,630 children and 3,130 women, with over 28,000 others injured.

Israel's raids led to the complete destruction of 41,120 housing units, along with damage to 94 government buildings, 253 schools, 71 mosques, and 3 churches.

The recent Israel-Hamas conflict, initiated by Hamas on October 7 with rocket attacks and infiltration, resulted in Israeli airstrikes, ground operations, and a Gaza Strip siege.

Israeli authorities report approximately 1,200 deaths in Israel, mainly attributed to the October 7 Hamas attack.
