Tiger Woods formally announced his affair with Vanessa Trump, the former daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump, with a romantic social media post.
Posting two images, Woods described his post as, "Love is in the air," and wished to continue life with Vanessa, saying, "Life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together."
The couple was last seen together at San Diego's Torrey Pines, where Woods was hosting the Genesis Invitational tournament. They were joined by Vanessa's daughter, Kai Trump, who shares class with Woods' children Sam and Charlie at the Benjamin School. Interestingly, Kai and Charlie had recently appeared in a prestigious junior golf tournament together.
Woods' and Vanessa's relationship confirmation follows weeks of rumors. Vanessa, who spent 12 years married to Donald Trump Jr., has five children with him. Woods, by contrast, has two children from his first marriage to Elin Nordegren, which he left in 2010 amid allegations of infidelity. Woods' last very public relationship was with Erica Herman, which ran its course and ended in a bitter breakup in October 2022.
In his post, Woods also asked for privacy for their families, requesting respect as they start this new beginning together.
