The first drone was destroyed on Sunday morning and it also targeted the country's southern region. The Coalition Spokesperson Turki Al-Malki renewed his accusation against the Houthi militia of "systematically and deliberately targeting civilians and civilian sites."

The clashes took place in the district of Jabal Murad in southern Marib as the government forces recaptured a chain of hills. Meanwhile, Houthi-run al-Masirah TV said the Saudi-led coalition, which backs the Yemeni government forces, launched a series of airstrikes on the Houthi fighters in the hills of Jabal Murad district on Wednesday.

During the protest, the displaced protesters appealed to the country's government and international organizations, especially the World Food Program (WFP), to respond to their demands and provide their families with essential food supplies.

In a statement on Monday, the group's military spokesman Yahya Sarea said the militia also fired other 178 ballistic missiles at Yemeni cities in the past year, targeting government military sites. He also said that the militia in the past year launched "267 bomb-laden drone attacks on Saudi Arabia and another 180 drone attacks on the Yemeni government inside the Yemeni cities".
