India reports 8,865 new Covid cases, lowest in 287 days
The nationwide death toll currently stood at 4,63,852 after 197 more people succumbed to the virus, according to the Ministry. The recovery of 11,971 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 3,38,61,756. Consequently, India's recovery rate stands at 98.27 per cent, the highest since March 2020.

Active cases presently constitute 0.39 per cent of the country's total positive cases, the lowest since March 2020.
Covid-19 Update: Delhi records 36 new cases, one death
With the new infections, the total covid-19 case tally has increased to 14,40,424 and the new fatality has taken the death toll to 25,094. Delhi's covid infection rate stands at 0.07 per cent, and the death rate at 1.74 per cent.

India registered 11,850 new covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to the latest update of the Union Health Ministry on Saturday. 555 deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours which elevated the nationwide Covid death toll to 4,63,245. The 12,403 recovered patients in the past 24 hours increased the cumulative tally of recovered to 3,38,26,483.

Consequently, India's recovery rate stands at 98.26 per cent, highest since March 2020. The active caseload stands at 1,37,416, lowest in the last 267 days. Active cases presently constitute 0.40 per cent of the country's total positive cases, the lowest since March 2020.
Delhi's daily Covid tally at 40, infection rate at 0.08%
The national capital has not seen Covid fatalities in the last twenty days, and itsdeath toll stands at 25,091 and the death rate at 1.74 per cent. The Covid infection rate in the national capital has risen to 0.08 per cent. While active cases in the city have risen to 367, 61 patients recovered in the last 24 hours to take the total number of recoveries to 14,14,812 so far, the health bulletin said.
Over 12 cr people due for 2nd dose of Covid vaccine in India: Mandaviya
Mansukh Mandaviya said - Of the total eligible adult population, only 79 per cent has got the first dose, while 38 per cent has received the second dose. Mandaviya made the observation during a meeting with health ministers of all states and union territories. He asked the ministers to ensure that all the adult population is covered with the first dose under the ongoing "Har Ghar Dastak" mega-vaccination drive, while those who are due for the second dose are also motivated.

With this, the country's recovery rate stands at 98.25 per cent, the highest since March 2020. The active caseload stands at 1,39,683, the lowest in last 264 days. Currently, the active cases constitute 0.41 per cent of the country's total positive cases, the lowest since March 2020.
Delhi sees zero Covid death for 18th day, 33 fresh cases
The city's death toll stands at 25,091 and the death rate stands at 1.74 per cent. The Covid infection rate in the national capital stands at 0.06 per cent. However, active cases in the city have climbed to 349, while with 26 patients recovering in the last 24 hours, the total number of recoveries is 14,14,736 so far, the health bulletin said.
