Shares of Trump's company Digital World Acquisition Corp went up in the after-hours trading after Google's decision. Google said in a statement that it permits apps on the Google Play Store as long as they "comply with our developer guidelines, including the requirement to effectively moderate user-generated content and remove objectionable posts such as those that incite violence", reports CNBC.
Twitter asks for birthdate from users to watch sensitive content
According to TechCrunch, the micro-blogging site is gradually rolling out a feature to restrict sensitive tweets unless users have a birthdate attached to their accounts and are over 18. "We are constantly iterating on our work to give people more choice and control over their experience, as well as to make Twitter safer for everyone," a company spokesperson was quoted as saying.

The filing in the Delaware Chancery Court in the US, which was unsealed on Monday, revealed that Twitter asked Zatko to destroy evidence before he was asked to leave the company after he received more than $7 million as part of the settlement. Spotted first by app researcher Jane Manchun Wong, Twitter has started sending pop-up notifications to some users when they take a screenshot. "Twitter is trying to persuade me to Share Tweet or Copy Link instead of taking a screenshot of the Tweet," she posted.
Twitter brings its 'Edit Tweet' feature to US
Earlier this week, the platform rolled out the feature for Blue subscribers in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. However, it did not mention the feature's availability for Indian audiences. According to 9to5Mac, the company said that the "test went well" and it is now "gradually rolling out Edit Tweet to all US Twitter Blue subscribers".

The company said it is giving everyone the ability to share multiple types of media in a single Tweet. "This feature will roll out globally to iOS and Android, with a chance to see mixed media Tweets on the web," the company said in a blog post late on Wednesday. The feature was first spotted by reverse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi in April.
