The company said that Twitter Circle allow users to build closer, deeper connections with their followers without giving up the option of talking to everyone on the Timeline. "Twitter began testing Twitter Circle in May 2022 with a limited number of people on iOS, Android, and web. Now, after a successful test run, the feature is being rolled out to everyone globally," the company said in a statement.

Zatko's whistleblower disclosure in a 84-page page, submitted to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), was obtained by CNN and The Washington Post on Tuesday. In a section titled 'Penetration by Foreign Intelligence & Threats to Democracy', Zatko claimed that "the Indian government forced Twitter to hire specific individual(s) who were government agents, who (because of Twitter's basic architectural flaws) would have access to vast amounts of Twitter sensitive data".

Twitter to cut annual bonuses for employees to 50% amid downturn

Twitter's chief financial officer Ned Segal told employees that global market conditions would affect the annual bonuses they receive, with the "bonus pool currently at 50 per cent of what it could be if the company met its financial targets," reports The New York Times. The annual bonus figure could fluctuate even further throughout the year based on Twitter's upcoming earnings, according to Segal who wrote an email to Twitter employees on Friday.
