Tesla to accept dogecoin as payment for merchandise, says Musk
Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Friday said the electric carmaker will accept meme-based digital currency dogecoin for merchandise. "Tesla merch buyable with Dogecoin," Musk said in a tweet. Following the news, Dogecoin raced up to $0.20.

According to Musk, GM's fourth quarter numbers have "room to improve". As noted by GM, the company sold a total of 26 electric vehicles in the fourth quarter. These comprised 25 Chevy Bolts and one Hummer EV pickup truck, reports Teslarati. This was quite interesting considering that GM made it a point to announce last month that Hummer EV customer deliveries were already starting, the report said.

The company said that it is introducing some creative features, from a new Light Show function to new games and entertainment experiences, safety features. "This week, Tesla owners around the world will be able to do more with their cars, and have even more fun, all with a free, over-the-air software update," the company said in a blogpost.
Tesla lets drivers turn electric cars into megaphones
Available for more recent Tesla vehicles (2019 and newer), the feature adds some voice effects to whatever you are saying, and that will be played to your surroundings through the external speakers, Electrek reported on Friday. The feature builds on Tesla's remote live view via Sentry Mode that lets drivers broadcast voice to the car using the Tesla mobile app.

Tesla Theater, the platform where Tesla integrates streaming apps, is getting a new addition, TikTok, which allows them to watch the short video platform from their touchscreen.

Musk took Twitter to talk about the long-awaited Tesla Cybertruck. "Initial production will be 4 motor variants, with independent, ultra-fast response torque control of each wheel," the CEO wrote while replying to a user. "Will have both front and rear-wheel steer, so not just like a tank -- it can drive diagonally like a crab," he added. Musk also mentioned that the product roadmap will be updated on the next earning call.

According to Electrek, Musk also said that the electric pickup truck will be a "technology bandwagon". It could mean that it will have a better version of the new steering wheel, the report said. The CEO mentioned that the Cybertruck will bring a lot of new technology. "Cybertruck will reach far into a post-apocalyptic future and bring that technology to now," Musk said.
