WhatsApp may extend 'delete for everyone' time limit window

The 'delete for everyone' option was rolled out in 2017 and initially had a time limit of seven seconds that later got extended to 4,096 seconds in 2018. Now, As per a WaBetaInfo report, the time limit for using the 'delete for everyone' feature may be increased to an indefinite period. The publication even shared a screenshot where it showcased that a message from three months ago was still eligible to get deleted for both people.
Facebook pulls down 1,259 malicious accounts, Pages, Groups in Sept

In Iran, it removed 93 Facebook accounts, 14 Pages, 15 Groups and 194 Instagram accounts that targeted primarily domestic audiences in that country, particularly in the Lorestan province. "We found this activity as part of our internal investigation into suspected coordinated inauthentic behaviour in the region and linked it to individuals associated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps," the company said in a statement.

Snapchat upgrades its camera to highlight visual search

The updates include more prominent placement of the "scan" feature -- now located directly under the camera's shutter button -- and new capabilities that will suggest lenses and music based on your surroundings. Twitter working on rules, replay option for Spaces

According to 9To5Mac, these new features are still under development and were discovered in Twitter's code by developer and app researcher Nima Owji. More specifically, the code indicates that Twitter is adding four new options to Spaces that should give hosts more control over the room. According to Owji's findings, the company wants to provide "rules" for Spaces users, the report said.
YouTube's new ways to help users find content easily

Twitter halts its account verification programme again

The announcement came after Twitter admitted last month it permanently suspended a "small number" of fake accounts it mistakenly verified after re-launching its public verification programme. Twitter making contrast changes as users report eye strain, migraines

The company said in a post that it is making contrast changes on all buttons to make them easier on the eyes "because you told us the new look is uncomfortable for people with sensory sensitivities". "We're listening and iterating. We've identified issues with the Chirp font for Windows users and are actively working on a fix," the Twitter Accessibility account posted.
