Affordable Samsung Galaxy M04 in India next week with RAM Plus feature

Industry sources told IANS on Friday that Galaxy M04 will support the innovative RAM Plus feature with which users can expand the RAM storage of the phone. With RAM Plus, users can get up to 8GB RAM on Samsung M04, which is unique in the sub-Rs 10,000 segment.
Samsung Galaxy S23 appears on FCC datatbase ahead of Feb launch

The model numbers of the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus are SM-S911B and SM-S916B, respectively, reports Gizmochina. According to the listings, the smartphones will support 25W fast charging. The Galaxy S23 is supported by a battery with the model number EB-BS912ABY and a capacity of 3785mAh. It will offer a standard capacity of 3900mAh. Whereas, the EB-BS916ABY battery in the Galaxy S23 Plus comes with a capacity of 4565mAh and is expected to offer a "typical capacity of 4700mAh".
Samsung sees a significant uptake of foldable smartphones, as enterprise demand doubles

Samsung Galaxy A14 5G may feature Exynos 1330 processor

The chipset is codenamed 'S5E8535', and has two powerful CPU cores running at 2.4GHz and six power-saving CPU cores running at 2GHz, reports SamMobile. It also features the 'ARM Mali-G68' graphics processing unit (GPU). The smartphone is expected to come with a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution, a 50MP primary rear camera, a 13MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery.
Stakeholders agree to phased roll-out of uniform charging port for different gadgets

Consumer Affairs Secretary Rohit Kumar Singh chaired a meeting of the Central Inter-Ministerial Task Force constituted to examine the issue of uniformity in charging ports of electronic devices, attended by representatives from industry associations such as MAIT, FICCI, CII, educational institutions including IIT Kanpur, IIT-BHU, Varanasi and Central government ministries including Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change. Industry should overcome inertia in adopting a uniform charging port in the interest of consumer welfare and prevention of avoidable e-waste, he said.
Samsung Galaxy M54 OLED panel may develop by CSOT, BOE

According to SamMobile, the tech giant signed up CSOT and BOE to its supply chain in an effort to reduce production costs for the mid-range, budget-friendly Galaxy M54. The company used OLED panels for the existing Galaxy M53 from Samsung Display and BOE, the report said.

Samsung may reduce smartphone shipments by 13%

Google Pixel 8 to feature Tensor G3 chip, 12GB RAM

The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are expected to pack 12GB of RAM, reports AndroidPolice. The Pro model is likely to offer display resolution of 2822 x 1344 pixels, whereas, Pixel 8 is expected to offer standard 2268 x 1080 resolution. Both the phones are expected to feature a new Tensor chip 'G3'.
