Para-shooting World Cup: India win gold in P3 Mixed 25m pistol team event; Rahul Jahkar bags bronze
The team of Rahul Jakhar, Singhraj and Nihal Singh won the gold in the Team event. In the individual event, Rahul Jakhar won the bronze medal, finishing behind Kim Jungnam of South Korea and Olseken Denysiuk of Ukraine. Jungnam finished with 28 points ahead of Denysiuk and Jakhar ended with 21 points.
India conclude 2022 Shooting World Championship with improved showing
The squad had finished third overall with 27 medals in Chagwon while in the current championship where the Shotgun worlds was held in Osijek, Croatia, followed by the Rifle/Pistol championship in Cairo, Egypt, India have won a total of 38 medals and are placed second behind China in the combined medal tally.
India win two more medals at Cairo Rifle/Pistol World Championship
With this win, India ended their Paris 2024 Olympics quota quest at two from the championship. Their tally now stands at 12 gold, nine silver and 13 bronze medals. The Women's 25m Pistol team comprising Rhythm Sangwan, Manu Bhaker and Abhidnya Ashok Patil first qualified for the top eight stage with a sixth-place finish in stage one of qualification where they totalled 873. Ukraine topped the stage with 880.

India's tally from the rifle/pistol World Championship now stands at 32 medals, including 12 gold, eight silver and 12 bronze medals and they remain firmly in second place behind China in the standings. They have also now won two Paris quotas at the event, with Rudrankksh Patil picking up the first in the men's 10m air rifle, earlier in the championship.

That performance and a 1-2-3 finish in the 50m Pistol Women Junior competition were the highlights for India on competition day seven at the Egypt International Olympic City (EIOC) Shooting Range, taking India's tally to 25 medals including 10 gold, five silver and 10 bronze medals won so far. They still lie second behind China.
ISSF World Championship: Udhayveer's double gold helps India consolidate second place
India has also picked up one Paris 2024 Olympics quota place after Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil stunned a high-quality field on Friday to become the 10 air rifle men's world champion. Udhayveer shot a combined score of 580 after the precision and rapid-fire rounds in the junior men's sports pistol, to emerge on top of the 23-strong field.
