Samsung announced it will showcase its upgraded BESPOKE refrigerator and artificial intelligence-supported washers and dryers at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2021, which is set to take place online from January 11 till January 14. Samsung hopes those customisable home appliances can post brisk sales in North America following its exhibition at CES 2021.

The upcoming Galaxy Buds Pro has been spotted on Samsung Canada's website with the SM-R190 model number that has already been a part of reports highlighting the existence of the new Galaxy Buds-series earbuds, reports SamMobile. The same model number is also available on the Samsung India website and earlier appeared on its Chinese and Korean counterparts.

All three Galaxy S21 models could lack this microSD expansion capability. The absence of a microSD slot may be overcome by having larger internal storage in the devices, reports GizmoChina. This, not the first that the company is planning to launch smartphones without microSD card support. All of its 2015 premium models were without a MicroSD slot, with some models in 2019 and 2020 also lacking a microSD slot.

Those who pre-book can get up to $700 of instant trade-in credit toward the purchase of a Galaxy S21 "if you trade an iPhone 12 series phone, or one of Samsung's own Note 20 and S20 phones". The company is also offering up to $550 of trade-in credit for certain phones with cracked screens.

One UI 3.0 update brings features like tweaked UI design, conversations section in the notifications area, dedicated media playback widget, repositioned volume controls, and support for chat heads. The company has also improved all of its stock apps such as Calendar, Contacts, Messages, Phone, Reminders, Samsung Internet, and Samsung Keyboard.

HDR10+ Adaptive supports Filmmaker Mode and adapts to brighter rooms so customers can enjoy a true cinematic experience with HDR10+ movies and TV programs in any environment at home. HDR10+ Adaptive will launch globally with Samsung's upcoming QLED TV products, the company said in a statement.

This equates to a pixel density of 421 ppi for the 6.2-inch S21 and 394 ppi for the 6.7-inch S21 Plus. Both would offer 120Hz and 60Hz refresh rates, like their predecessors, reports The Verge. Samsung would launch three models of the S21 Series -- Galaxy S21 5G, S21+ 5G, S21 Ultra 5G.

It would have 4G and 5G versions bearing model designations SM-A725F and SM-A726B, respectively, reports GSMArena. The Galaxy A72 4G with performance unit managed to score 549 and 1637 in Geekbench 5's single-core and multi-core test. The device would also boot on Android 11-based One User Interface (UI) out of the box.

The year 2020 witnessed the launch of several new smartwatches from various players, ranging from the high-end Apple to mid-segment OPPO and affordable Realme devices. According to Counterpoint Research, India's smartwatch market seems to have reached its first period of growth, thanks to the active expansion of brands.

According to market researcher Omdia, the South Korean tech behemoth is forecast to sell 49.02 million TVs this year after shipping 33.92 million units in the first three quarters of the year, reports Yonhap news agency. The estimate is up 11.2 per cent from the previous year and marks the largest annual sales number since 2014.
