This matter of late has been drawing a lot of heat as June 11 -- the death anniversary of Sachin Pilot's father, former Union Minister Rajesh Pilot, is approaching. On June 11, Sachin Pilot visits Dausa every year to pay tribute to his father on his death anniversary. Dausa had been a constituency of his late father, Rajesh Pilot, who is still a respected figure among farmers.

While Congress has two major leaders, namely Ashok Gehlot and deputy CM Sachin Pilot, the BJP in fact has a long list of CM faces. The first and the foremost leader in Rajasthan BJP is Vasundhara Raje, the former CM who has led the state twice and has a strong mass base among people.

As the party leadership is now trying to show that everything is fine in Rajasthan Congress, a tweet by Sachin Pilot has triggered speculations in the political circles. Sachin Pilot has posted a video story on his Twitter handle, in which he is seen with the people of the state.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge will hold back to back meetings with Rajasthan leaders on Monday and Tuesday in New Delhi. Gehlot is also leaving for Delhi in this context. He will depart from Jaipur at 10 a.m. on Monday, and stay in the national capital till Tuesday noon.

Videos of the supporters of the rival camps kicking and punching each other have gone viral on social media. The clash broke out around noon when Congress workers from the rural areas reached for the meeting called by the district Congress committee.

Sachin Pilot was addressing a public gathering during the Jan Sangharsh Yatra, which he launched in Ajmer earlier in the day. Pilot's five-day padyatra from Ajmer is being taken out to highlight the paper leak and corruption issues, which he said was affecting youths the most.

"This fact has become clear from the speech of the Chief Minister, which he delivered the day before yesterday in Dholpur," Sachin Pilot said. Pilot raised questions on Gehlot's statement "that praised BJP leaders but tarnished the image of the party's own MPs and MLAs".

He, in fact, also advised MLAs to return the money to Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Addressing an inflation relief camp near Dholpur, Ashok Gehlot triggered political controversy by alleging the MLAs of the Pilot camp collected money from BJP to topple the government.

"My aim at the moment is to provide relief from inflation and to do service. I don't get diverted towards left or right, either. AICC has tweeted that Rajasthan is giving leadership in terms of schemes, what can be a greater fortune than this," Ashok Gehlot said at a press meet here.

"Sachin Pilot's day-long fast tomorrow (Tuesday) is against the party interests and is anti-party activity. If there is any issue with his own government, it can be discussed in the party forums instead of in the media and public," he said in a statement. "I have been an AICC in-charge for the last 5 months and Pilot has never discussed this issue with me. I am in touch with him and I still appeal for calm dialogue since he is an indisputable asset to the Congress," Randhawa added.
