Devon Conway was the Player of the Match in the three-day IPL 2023 final, caused due to rain at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, scoring a quick 25-ball 47 in CSK's successful chase of 171 in 15 overs, where Rayudu also hit a quick eight-ball 19.

The Titans had put up a stiff 214/4 in their 20 overs thanks largely to a hurricane 96 runs (47b) by Sai Sudharsan and a spirited 54 runs (39b) by wicketkeeper.

In a final stretched over three days, Chennai were set a revised target of 171 in 15 overs when the rain had stopped play a few balls into their innings after the Gujarat Titans had rode on a quickfire 96 by Sai Sudharsan and a half-century by Wriddhiman Saha to post 214/4 in 20 overs. Ruturaj Giakwad said winning IPL 2023 in the final spread.

Sudharsan looked flawless throughout his innings and played some breathtaking shots against an undisciplined bowling line-up. Apart from Sudharsan and Saha, the likes of Shubman Gill (39 off 20) and Hardik Pandya (21 off 12) also made vital contributions with the bat.

Rain played spoilsport on Sunday as the highly-anticipated IPL 2023 final was moved to the reserve day on Monday, with both teams now looking to win that coveted trophy. The M.S.
