Directed by debutante Rupinder Chahal, the film is produced by Atul Bhalla, Pawan Gill, Anurag Singh, Aman Gill, Balwinder Singh Janjua. Confirming the news about the theatrical release, Pawan tells IANS: "A fun crazy mad family rom com film like 'Puaada' deserves to be seen in a theatre with a crowd full of people, and that's why we waited for the right opportunity to release our movie in theatres only.

The show is inspired by the Punjabi film "Surkhi Bindi", and will soon run a track where the lead actors Isha Malviya, Priyanka Choudhary and Ankit Gupta will be joined by B Praak. Sargun has earlier worked with B Praak in the 2018 Punjabi film "Qismat".
